Project Objective
Valley Solar needed a contemporary website that showcased their service offerings across residential and commercial solar installations, battery installations, EV charging stations, and electrical contracting. A unique element of this project was the inclusion of a dark and light theme for users to manually toggle. To facilitate both the dark/light toggle and the website’s scalability, a robust design system was also created.
Design System
Valley Solar’s design system makes use of layered sets of variables to achieve light and dark states (as well as override states) for all components. This allows for easy designing and development of new landing pages and campaign pages.
Solar ROI Calculator Tool
A custom solar ROI calculator module was designed and developed for the site, letting users easily see their potential savings over 25 years when switching to solar.
